City Centre Litter Picks

At Coventry BID, we’re committed to keeping our city centre clean, safe, and welcoming. Our regular litter picks bring together Coventry BID team members and city centre businesses to take collective action and show pride in the place we all work and represent.

Our Litter Pick Events

Coventry BID regularly organises litter picks throughout the year to help maintain a clean and attractive city centre. These events see fantastic support from a wide range of local businesses, with teams volunteering their time to help tidy key areas and enhance the appearance of the city.

Our most recent litter pick took place on 22nd October 2025, with 47 participants from across the city centre joining forces to make a visible difference. We also hosted a successful event in May 2024– Over 60 bags of rubbish collected in the city centre spring clean, which saw strong business involvement and enthusiasm from those taking part.

Each litter pick highlights the dedication of Coventry’s business community to keeping the city centre looking its best and ensuring it remains a pleasant environment for everyone who lives, works, and visits.

Our litter picks not only improve the physical environment but also provide a great opportunity for businesses to connect, collaborate, and demonstrate their commitment to the city. By working together, we help create a more pleasant and sustainable space for customers, employees, and visitors.
