Coventry, UK – March 16th, 2024 – The Yard Coventry, a beloved LGBT+ bar in the heart of the
city, is thrilled to announce the opening of its new venue at the former Metropolis Bar on Earl
Street on April 5th, 2024. After much anticipation, The Yard Coventry team is excited to bring a
fresh and vibrant space to the community, promising an unforgettable experience for patrons old
and new.

Operations at The Yard Coventry. “This move represents a significant milestone for us, and we
can’t wait to welcome everyone to our bigger and better venue on Earl Street.”

Richard Easter, co-owner of The Yard, expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I am thrilled for the

The new venue boasts a larger size, offering more room for socialising, dancing, dining and
celebrating individuality. With a prime location in the heart of Coventry, The Yard’s new home
provides better accessibility and visibility for all patrons.

But that’s not all – The Yard Coventry is also teasing a tantalising food offering that will surely
delight taste buds and leave guests craving more. Details about the menu will be revealed soon,
promising a culinary experience that perfectly complements the vibrant atmosphere of the
venue.

As part of this transition, the current Yard Coventry location at the Bull Yard will be closing its
doors for the final time on March 31st, 2024. To bid farewell to this iconic space, The Yard
Coventry will be hosting a huge closing weekend party, details of which will be announced on its
social media channels very soon. It will be a final celebration to honour the memories made at
the Bull Yard location and to usher in a new era at the Earl Street venue.

The Yard Coventry at its current location in the Bull Yard will continue to be open and operate as
normal until 31st March.
