During the recent festive season, Coventry city centre was transformed into a vibrant hub of holiday cheer, attracting thousands of visitors to its array of Christmas activities.
The Festival of Christmas, held on 20 November 2024, featured captivating performances such as aerial displays, festive comedy shows, and storytelling sessions with Santa, delighting attendees of all ages. The event also marked the commencement of late-night shopping, further boosting foot traffic in the city centre.
Complementing the festival, the Christmas market and the impressive big wheel in Broadgate operated daily from 15 November 2024 to 5 January 2025, offering festive food, drinks, and gifts, and providing panoramic views of the city. These attractions significantly enhanced the city’s festive appeal, drawing numerous visitors and contributing to a lively and bustling city centre throughout the holiday period.
