Coventry BID Wins a Regional Award for a Proactive Approach to Problem Solving

Coventry Business Improvement District (BID) has been celebrated at a major regional business awards ceremony for its proactive approach to solving problems and supporting local growth.

Coventry BID has been named winner of the Problem Solver Award at the inaugural Coventry & Warwickshire Business and Community Awards.

The event, held at the Belgrade Theatre in Coventry, brought together more than 600 guests to celebrate the region’s most impactful individuals and organisations across 10 award categories.

Sponsored by Wright Hassall LLP, the Problem Solver Award recognises organisations that have identified and responded to challenges through innovation and collaboration.

Matthew Davies, Partner at Wright Hassall and one of the judges, said: “It was a pleasure for Wright Hassall to sponsor this category and I was delighted to join forces with Roger Scott from Lloyds Bank to judge it.

Coventry BID works on behalf of hundreds of city centre businesses across retail, hospitality, leisure and professional services to enhance the local trading environment, increase footfall and drive inward investment.

Over the past year, the organisation has launched a number of high-impact initiatives – from business support and promotional campaigns to safety partnerships.

By listening to the needs of the business community and responding quickly to emerging issues, Coventry BID is a vital partner in helping the city navigate both day-to-day challenges and longer-term transformation.

The award was presented by Phil Wilding, Managing Partner, and Matthew Davies, Partner, at Wright Hassall LLP.
